  • 1 lbs carrots
  • 1 tsp butter
    Seasonings

    Steps for Completion
  1. Rinse off raw carrots and cut them off. Discard the top and bottom tips. You don't need to peel them. Open freezer bag if lazy.
  2. Put about an inch of water at the bottom of the pot (no steamer), put the carrots in, cover the pot, and bring to boil on high. Once on high turn it down to about 3/4 heat.
  3. After about 10 minutes check on water level and add more if needed. Add some tarragon.
  4. Cook until desired softness.
  5. Add a little bit (less than a teaspoon) of butter or smart balance to pot and serve.
